Welcome to the NIPMAC home page. NIPMAC is a Model Aeronautics Association of Canada (MAAC) affiliated club, formed in 1974. It serves the area around North Bay Ontario, on the beautiful eastern shore of Lake Nipissing.

The majority of club activity is devoted to radio controlled, fixed wing sport flying. Some of the club members are also involved in helicopter flying and indoor electric planes.

The club has one field near Callander adjacent to the Osprey Links Golf Course and a Float Fly location on Lake Nosbonsing. For locations click on the "maps" button in the menu bar.

Nipmac has volunteer Flight instructors available to students on a individually scheduled basis. A list of available instructors is posted at Cranberry Field flying site as well as in the monthly newsletter. Airtime preference will be given to new flyers.

The club meets the second Wednesday of each month at the Ferris Legion, 30 Legion Drive in North Bay or at Cranberry Field for a business meeting. Check out the "Coming Events" page for this month's loction.

Various events throughout the year. Each month, during the flying season, there are fun or floatflies at one of our fields. During the month of August, the club hosts its annual fly in at Cranberry Field. There is an open invitation to MAAC members to join us for a day of flying. The event is open to the public and food is available on site.
