Aeronautics Association of Canada (MAAC) affiliated club, formed
in 1974. It serves the area around North Bay Ontario, on the beautiful
eastern shore of Lake Nipissing.
majority of club activity is devoted to radio controlled, fixed
wing sport flying. Some of the club members are also involved in
helicopter flying and indoor electric planes.
The club has recently lost the use of Cranberry Field in Calendar, due to the work being performed in the area. This work will continue for approximately a year, at which time we plan to return. In the meantime a temporary field has been procured near Powassan on 130 Purdon line. Detail driving instructions are in the "Maps" section.
Nipmac has volunteer Flight instructors available to students on a individually scheduled basis. A list of available instructors is posted at Cranberry Field flying site as well as in the monthly newsletter. Airtime preference will be given to new flyers.

Various events throughout the year. Each month, during
the flying season, there are fun or floatflies at one of our fields.
During the month of August, the club hosts its annual fly in at
Cranberry Field. There is an open invitation to MAAC members to join
us for a day of flying. The event is open to the public and food
is available on site.
